Imagine if Emily in Paris was gay, had no fashion coats, almost got deported, and actually lived in Amsterdam. Okay, so a completely different woman, but this got your attention, right?

Why Are You Here is a solo comedy show that explores the new American dream: leaving your job as an election reporter when your girlfriend gets a job abroad.

When Bronwyn followed her girlfriend to Amsterdam in 2022, she discovered two things: wherever you go there you are. And, wherever you go people will relentlessly ask: why are you here?!

This show explores the absurdity of immigration, LGBTQ+ identity, and our incredibly online world of (mis)information.

Bronwyn has performed the show across Amsterdam, NYC, Seattle, and Berlin, and is overjoyed to bring it to Melbourne.
