Handmade for Me comes from a lifetime of being surrounded by a family of creative women who sewed, knitted, crocheted and imagined. Ros grew up hearing a Singer Treadle, the click-clack of knitting needles and learning about the textures of fabrics and colours. Handmade for Me is the manifestation of that listening, touching materials and never finding quite the right bags and purses.
Ros has been sewing and selling bags, purses, pouches and more at markets in Perth since about 2016. She also teaches bag sewing classes and sells sewing patterns which she has designed as PDF, paper copies and with fabric kits.
