About

🇨🇺 THE CUBAN GROOVE — DANCE, MUSIC & CULTURE

Want to experience the energy, rhythm and spirit of Cuba right here in Auckland?

The Cuban Groove brings people together through authentic Cuban dance, music and culture. Led by Cuban maestro Vivio Ramos Mediaceja, with more than 40 years of experience and professional training in Havana, we offer Cuban Salsa (Casino), Rueda de Casino, workshops and special dance experiences for all levels.

No partner? No problem. Whether you're completely new to Cuban dance or an experienced dancer looking to take your dancing further, you'll find a friendly, welcoming community where you can learn, dance, meet people and have fun.

Beyond our classes and workshops, we also host vibrant social dance events and live Latin music nights with Vivio & Friends and Ke lo Ke.

💃 Come learn. 🎶 Come dance. 🇨🇺 Come experience the Cuban Groove.
