About

Many of the boys in our communities are navigating a world that is noisier, more complex, and more contradictory than anything previous generations faced.

Yet much of what impacts them remains hidden, even from the adults who know them best.

This series of events in South West Victoria is aimed at parents, educators and community members interested in supporting the boys to thrive.

Led by Joel Hines (former school principal, TEDx Speaker, author and facilitator), this is an invitation to understand our boys at a deeper level.

Drawing on more than 25 years of experience working with young people, families and schools and having facilitated workshops with over 2,000 teenage boys, Joel brings both professional insight and lived experience to the conversation.

His work sits at an intersection of research, real stories and practical wisdom, making complex ideas feel useful.
