Forest & Bird - The Future of Conservation Hui
Nature Can't Vote, But You Can
Who is giving nature a voice this election?
Aotearoa New Zealand's conservation land is under threat. Forest & Bird's maps of at-risk land have sparked a national conversation - and this election is the moment to make sure politicians understand nature matters to us.
This August, Forest & Bird is hosting The Future of Conservation Hui in three cities across the motu. Come along to hear from experts and politicians about what's at stake, and what they plan to do about it. If you want to go further, join us for an afternoon session designed to help you get active for nature before election day.
There's something here for everyone - whether you're coming along for the first time or you've been advocating for nature for years.
Saturday 1 August - Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington, Parliament
Saturday 15 August - Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, Ellen Melville Centre
Saturday 29 August - Ōtautahi Christchurch, Aldersgate Centre
