Teach Earth Science with Confidence
Teacher Earth Science Education Programme Ltd (TESEP) is a not-for-profit organisation that operates in all states/territories. TESEP is a teach-the-teachers program to help Science teachers (and laboratory technicians) confidently teach Earth and Space Sciences and STEM curricula in upper primary years and junior-middle secondary (years 4-10), and senior secondary Earth and Environmental Science (years 11-12).
TESEP’s aim is to develop confident, well-informed, enthusiastic teachers of STEM / Earth, Space and Environmental Science, with the multiplier effect of flow-on to tens of thousands of students over the years of most science teachers working lifetimes.
Our programme of Australia-wide STEM Professional Development (PD) workshops, Webinars and Field Trips are supported by our TESEP Rock Kit, TESEP Australian Critical and Minerals Kit and the TESEP Plate Tectonics Poster - al linked to online resources including rock and mineral stories, high resolution 3D and microscope photography, and free online resources.
The award-winning TESEP programme has been operating since 2007, with a team of passionate and knowledgeable geoscientists with teaching and outreach experience.
