About
Experience the Shore Line Trolley Museum at one of the most beautiful times of day. As the sun begins to set over the Farm River estuary, climb aboard a historic electric trolley for a relaxing evening ride along our scenic railway.
These special evening departures are timed to coincide with golden hour and sunset, offering spectacular views across the tidal marsh and salt meadow landscape. It’s a perfect outing for photographers, families, couples, and anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful end to the day.
Your ride travels along the museum’s historic trolley line — the oldest continuously operating suburban trolley route in the United States, originally opened in 1900 connecting New Haven with Connecticut’s shoreline communities.
Each ride lasts approximately one hour and operates with one historic trolley, making seating limited.
