About

Landscapes Hills and Fleurieu is delivering the Stewardship in Action workshop series to help primary producers and small landholders take action, plan ahead, and future-proof their farms. Through tailored sessions, participants will develop an action plan to manage and enhance their natural assets like watercourses, native vegetation, soils, and more, boosting climate resilience and farm productivity. Attending the events that apply to your property will help build your action plan over several sessions.

These practical, hands-on workshops raise awareness of why natural asset management matters, offering support to tackle real on-farm challenges. You'll hear from experienced stewardship officers and guest speakers and explore how thoughtful land management can protect the natural assets on your property, and open doors to green finance, carbon and nature repair markets, and improved market access.

Each workshop focuses on key areas such as emissions reduction, weed control, soil health, and revegetation. Whether you're just starting or ready to refine your farm plan, this series will inspire, educate, and empower you to care for your land - and your future.

Participants are encouraged to attend the events local to their region.

This project is supported by the Australian Government through funding from the Natural Heritage Trust under the Climate-Smart Agriculture Program. These events are run in-conjunction with the Landscapes Hills and Fleurieu Stewardship Program.
