About

Skid Car Driving Class is a 3-hour hands-on driving safety program that helps drivers develop calm, confident responses to reduced traction. Participants combine instructor-led learning with supervised behind-the-wheel practice using the Skid Car system in a controlled setting.

The course focuses on smooth steering, braking, and acceleration; managing vehicle weight transfer and speed; proper vision and eye placement; skid recognition and recovery; threshold braking; and crash-avoidance steering. Real-time coaching helps participants understand why small, deliberate inputs are more effective than sudden reactions.

Designed for drivers with three months or more experience, this course builds practical skills for wet, snowy, icy, and other low-traction conditions. The goal is confidence—not overconfidence—so participants can make safer decisions when conditions change.
