About
This collection brings together Advocacy WA’s Self Advocacy Mini Workshop Series, a set of short, online learning sessions designed to support people to understand their rights, build confidence, and use their voice.
Each workshop runs for 30 minutes and focuses on practical, everyday self advocacy skills. Sessions are free, online, and can be attended individually or as a full series, depending on what feels right for you.
The series covers:
• Understanding what self advocacy is and why it matters
• Shaping and communicating your supports and choices
• Speaking up at work and understanding your rights in employment
• Building confidence and resilience to keep using your voice
These workshops are co designed by people with disability and are grounded in lived experience. They are suitable for people with disability, family members, supporters, and community members.
You can choose one session or attend all four. Join us to build skills, confidence, and connection in a supportive and inclusive space.
