About
Walking with Intention is a 2-hour, nature-based, gentle walking workshop held in the lush surrounds of the CERES Community Environment Park gardens. These walkshops invite you to slow down, listen and reflect, using nature’s subtle cues as mirrors for inner awareness.
Guided by Lady Bijou, practitioner of earth-based spirituality and seasonal traditions, participants explore how the shifting seasons have shaped culture, ritual and wisdom across time, and how these cycles continue to influence our lives today. Each walkshop honours the elements through grounding practices, sensory awareness, guided meditation and intentional movement. Along the way, we engage with the land through discussions of local flora, fauna, food and seasonal traditions, to support intention-setting and embodied reflection.
The Walking with Intention series consists of eight walkshops, each held in the week leading up to the solar solstices, equinoxes, and the four seasonal peaks. These gatherings offer an opportunity to align with natural rhythms, celebrate cyclical change and walk in awareness alongside those who have come before us.
