About this Program
The Resilience and Capacity Building Program for Incorporated Associations and Not-for-Profits in the Dubbo LGA is a targeted initiative designed to support and strengthen the local community sector. Delivered by the NFP Guide Foundation under the banner of "Volunteer in Dubbo Region," this program provides essential training, resources, and networking opportunities for those leading and operating not-for-profit organisations.
From September 2026 through August 2027, the program will deliver a series of workshops across Dubbo, Wellington, Geurie, and Stuart Town. Our sessions cover critical operational areas, including governance, project development, funding, grant writing, strategic planning, and volunteer management. By combining expert-led training with opportunities for peer support and regional networking, we aim to build the long-term capability of our local organisations to ensure they can continue their vital work for the community.
This project is supported by FRRR, through funding from the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund and Your Not-for-Profit Guide.
