Perth Poetry Festival 2025

There is a hum. You can feel it in your chest. Hear it in the air.

Poets gathering. Pages lifting. Stages buzzing. From city libraries to country towns, from slam nights to quiet readings, the Perth Poetry Festival brings voices into orbit. The famous. The first-timers. The fierce and the tender. All speaking into the same great listening.

This is WA’s annual celebration of poetry in all its forms. It’s live. It’s local. It’s shared breath and language and sound. It’s stories held in rhythm. Silence broken with care.

It's the hum of our universe.
