Pgh Book Fest is a free event that celebrates the city’s rich literary community and love of reading. Poets, authors, book enthusiasts and more gather at Pgh Book Fest to pay tribute to Pittsburgh’s growing literary reputation.

The festival features nationally renowned authors with ties to Pittsburgh, dozens of poets, children’s activities, book and comic stores, entertainment, publishers and more. All ages are welcome to attend – from children to senior citizens and everyone in between.

After our fourth annual festival in 2025, we are eager to continue this literary tradition in our city!
