The Oatley Remakery & Sustainability Hub Workshops will enable community members to gain new skills repairing everyday items, and will provide an opportunity for residents to upcycle clothes, household items, bikes and furniture free of cost.

Bring your broken, semi-functional, worn out electrical and furniture that you can fix together with The Bower's skilled repairers and volunteers with varied knowledge on repairing and upcycling items.

The Bower is an environmental charity which diverts reusable goods away from landfill, providing homewares to the community at low cost via our shopfronts in Parramatta and Marrickville. It is a treasure trove of vintage, retro and some nearly new household goods that also hosts regular workshops in carpentry, upholstery for Kids, Women, including organising the Women and Men’s Shed.

In our endeavours to combine sustainability and innovation, we have also introduced the concept of the European Repair Cafes to Sydney that are organised every month in Oatley (new) and Parramatta and every week at Zetland and Redfern.
