The New Zealand Renewable Heat Roadshow brings industry together to explore practical renewable heat solutions for the meat processing and dairy sectors. Through a series of site tours and knowledge-sharing sessions, participants will gain firsthand insight into successful projects across a range of technologies, including biomass boilers, electric boilers (eboilers), heat pumps, heat recovery systems, and biogas. The roadshow is designed to showcase real-world applications, share lessons learned, and support the transition to lower-emissions process heat across New Zealand industry.

The tour will be hosted by Jarrod Leak, A2EP CEO and Jonathon Pooch, DETA Global Managing Director.

This tour will only proceed if we reach minimum numbers of registrations by 30 September.

Tour dates

The itinerary is currently being finalised (TBC), with transport between all sites provided via coach.

• Tuesday 20 October: 9:00am-5:00pm Site tours include Silver Fern Farms, Christchurch Hospital and Burwood Hospital, with more to be announced

• Wednesday 21 October: 7:30am-5:30pm Site tours include Synlait, ANZCO Canterbury, and more to be announced

• Thursday 22 October: 8:00am-5:00pm - Site tours include Meadow Mushrooms, and MG New Zealand

A2EP member: $1,300 (AUD) + GST

NON-A2EP member: $2,200 (AUD) + GST
