About

Dancers and digital entities slip between what is and isn’t human.

Soft, pink and tender, AI-generated forms emerge through the screen of your device in real time and enter the performance space: like bodily organisms suspended between flesh and code.

Using a QR code and your phone, the augmented reality layer of this work is revealed. Part performance, part interactive encounter, you are invited to move freely through the work as choreography continuously shifts between physical and virtual presence.

Combining contemporary dance, motion capture and artificial intelligence, Networked Flesh explores how data shapes representation, and how technology mediates what we see, feel, and recognise as human.
