The City of Ballarat is committed to creating a cleaner, more efficient and economically viable environmentally sustainable future. The Sustainable Environment Ballarat team leads the development of policies, strategic direction, and initiative that drive environmental sustainability, integrated water management and climate action across the municipality
As part of this commitment, Ballarat is actively transitioning toward a circular economy. The Circular Economy Service delivers programs that promote smarter resource use, waste minimisation, and the diversion of materials from landfill – helping to create a more resilient and sustainable community.
