MONTEC Winter Series 2026 - Ride, Learn & Explore 🏔️
MONTEC Winter Series is a series of three weekends filled with different events that bring together backcountry skiers, snowboarders, and newcomers to the scene - all sharing the same goal: prioritizing safety while enjoying the excitement of freeride adventures.
Join us for your favorite activity, and feel free to stop by our stand anytime throughout the three days!
This year, they will take place across three amazing locations:
Axamer Lizum, Austria 🇦🇹 - Jan 23 to Jan 25
Hochfügen, Austria 🇦🇹 - Jan 30 to Feb 1
Engelberg, Switzerland 🇨🇠- Feb 27 to Mar 1
In collaboration with ARVA, certified guides and safety equipment will be on hand throughout the weekend. Learn, practice, and feel confident in the backcountry while exploring new terrain.
Each weekend Highlights:
Friday – Ride & Connect 🤝
No registration needed! Stop by the MONTEC Basecamp to try on our latest gear, meet fellow skiers and snowboarders, and kick off the weekend with good vibes.
Saturday – Safety Summit đźš
Limited spots, registration required. Join small groups led by certified guides for mountain and avalanche safety training. Learn essential skills to stay safe in the backcountry and master avalanche safety equipment.
Sunday – Backcountry Experience 🎿
Limited spots, registration required. Take your first steps into backcountry skiing or touring with hands-on guidance. Learn how to plan your day, read the conditions, and ride safely under expert supervision.
MONTEC Basecamp – Open All Weekend
Even if you’re not registered for the activities, everyone is welcome! Visit us from 10 AM to 4 PM at the local Basecamp for each location, try our latest gear, and meet new friends.
