At our Open Weekend in September 2025, many people expressed a desire to come to a listening group – no pressure, just companionship – and share in the joy of prose, poetry and stories.

We’ve developed this gentle, welcoming group that we hope will evolve based on the wishes of those who come.

There is no pressure to read aloud yourself, so just come and listen, have a hot drink and relax in friendly company.
