Last year, I illegally moved into a 76 year old lady’s house for cheap rent and ended up making a best friend.

Laurie is a stand-up comedy show about the year I spent living with Laurie, a 76-year old lady, in a 2 bedroom house in Northcote. We met while I was doing her gardening (lol) and I moved into her house because I thought living at my parents’ would make it hard for me to bring dates back home (lol).

This year ended up changing my life. Laurie has shaped the way I think about life, love and Deal or No Deal. I worry the way I’m writing this makes it sound like she’s dead. She’s not. I’m just writing this show about her because she’s goated.
