Welcome to JPlay!
JPlay! is a joyful Sunday morning series for families with children ages 0-5—open to all, whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth. No enrollment or prior connection is needed—just bring your playful spirit.
On select Sundays throughout the year, The Senesh School transforms into a vibrant, welcoming space filled with play stations, music, movement, creativity, and Jewish joy. Kids and their grownups sing, dance, create, explore, and connect with one another.
Beyond our regular Sunday series at Senesh, JPlay! also includes special holiday programs and occasional neighborhood pop-ups hosted with community partners at locations across Brooklyn. These programs may offer a different mix of activities or follow their own schedule, while carrying the same spirit of joyful Jewish play and community.

What to expect at our regular JPlay! Sundays:
Multiple play zones featuring building, pretend play, sensory exploration, and more
Arts and crafts designed for little hands
A joyful sing-along with Tkiya featuring music, movement, Jewish themes and Hebrew
A cozy book nook with PJ Library stories
Hebrew Corner / פינת עברית with books, blocks, games, and playful ways to explore Hebrew - curated with support from Kayitz Kef. No Hebrew needed!
Snacks & coffee for kids and adults alike!
Something special every week
Each regular JPlay! Sunday features special guests who help us level up the play with a fun, hands-on experience created especially for little kids. Families might cook, explore light and sensory materials, try a special art activity, and more.
No two Sundays are exactly the same - but every gathering offers plenty of opportunities to play, connect, and experience Jewish joy together.
