JFam! is your year-round hub for family-friendly Jewish programming across Brooklyn. We bring holidays, culture, and Shabbat moments to life through hands-on activities, music, food, and real community connection.

Whether you’re coming with babies, big kids, grandparents, or friends — whether you’re new to Jewish life or deeply rooted — JFam! is a come-as-you-are space to connect, celebrate, and belong.

Our programs fall into two main streams:

Big, joyful, interactive Jewish celebrations for families of all kinds — brought to life by Senesh and our diverse and incredible community partners.

These are multi-station, come-and-go style events for Jewish holidays and cultural moments, with:

• Food and festive treats

• Community partners and pop-ups

• A dedicated JPlay! space where little ones can relax and enjoy the fun at their own pace

These events are perfect for families who want to celebrate big moments together in a welcoming, playful, low-pressure environment.

Come-as-you-are, joyful Shabbat moments for families of all kinds - featuring music, food, and family connection.

These gatherings might be on a Friday evening, a Havdalah night, or another Shabbat-inspired moment — and they’re designed to help families:

• Connect to Shabbat in accessible, meaningful ways

• Build ritual and memory together

• Enjoy music, blessings, crafts, cooking, and kid-friendly bites

• Find joyful entry points into Jewish life and make Shabbat your own
