Oliver Brooke BSc (Psych) MCouns MACA L4
Oliver Brooke is a Certified Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapist, IFS Institute Approved Clinical Consultant and Program Assistant, Registered Professional Counsellor (ACA Level 4), Recognised Clinical Supervisor and experienced group facilitator.
Oliver has worked in human services for fifteen years and has extensive experience facilitating adult education, therapeutic groups and professional development workshops. He previously worked with Relationships Australia WA, where he facilitated behaviour change programs, relationship education groups and professional development workshops for more than five years.
Today, Oliver works in private practice, where he provides IFS psychotherapy, clinical supervision and professional training in IFS. He is passionate about making IFS accessible, practical and experiential for therapists and helping professionals who want to deepen their understanding and application of the model.
Oliver is known for his calm, welcoming and thoughtful facilitation style. His workshops are highly organised and structured, while remaining responsive to the needs and energy of the group. He breaks complex concepts into clear, digestible building blocks and brings them to life through discussion, visual examples, demonstrations and experiential exercises.
Participants can expect an engaging and interactive learning environment where curiosity is welcomed. Oliver particularly values creating space for questions, including scepticism or uncertainty, recognising that thoughtful questioning often leads to deeper learning.
Oliver is committed to continuing his own development as both a therapist and facilitator. He regularly engages in his own IFS therapy and professional supervision and participates in advanced IFS consultation with senior IFS-I Trainers. He is committed to embodying the principles of IFS not only in his clinical work, but also in his own personal and spiritual life.
“I value creating safe, interactive and engaging experiences where you can hear, see & learn the theory and process of IFS. I focus on participants experiencing the model for themselves. You will have opportunities to meet some of your own parts, observe live demonstrations of IFS therapy, and practise the first steps of the model in a supportive environment. I’m very much looking forward to having you in my group.”
