Get Wild About Wetlands – School Holiday Adventures at Bibra Lake

Get Wild About Wetlands is The Wetlands Centre Cockburn’s signature school holiday program – a playful mix of nature, art, science and story designed for curious kids and their grown-ups.

Across each holiday season, families step into the living classroom of Walliabup (Bibra Lake) to:

• Meet local wildlife – from turtles, frogs and birds to the tiny creatures living beneath the water’s surface.
• Create nature-inspired art using clay, paint, printmaking, natural materials and more.
• Explore big ideas about wetlands, sustainability and caring for Country through hands-on activities.
• Slow down, get a little muddy and reconnect with the rhythms of the natural world.

Every workshop is hosted by experienced educators and guest artists who keep things friendly, inclusive and engaging for a wide range of ages and abilities. Sessions are designed for children and families attending together, with plenty of time for questions, creativity and quiet discovery.
