The growing conversation in Australia highlights that ending family violence in our communities is a long-term endeavour, requiring collective effort. The urgent need for genuine and meaningful action to eliminate this insidious form of abuse has never been more apparent, especially to ensure the safety of women and children in our communities.   

Engender Equality works actively via our training, professional development and consultancy social enterprise, to assist our peers in the community services and beyond to become part of the movement to end family violence, and provide trauma-informed, informed and appropriate support to victim-survivors of this form of abuse.  

Engender Equality's training and leadership team possess a high level of expertise and experience in the fields of gender equality and family violence, guided by research evidence and knowledge enriched through our work across the family violence sector.     Our profound understanding of all forms and presentations of family violence, coupled with insights into the unique experiences of victim-survivors, has driven the development of our evidence-based training and professional development workshops, which we deliver to organisations across Australia.  

While Engender Equality provides bespoke training workshops and consultancy for private enterprise via a fee-for-service model for individual organisations, but are thrilled to announce due to popular demand, will be offering a professional development and training workshop series across the remainder of 2025 that will be open to individuals to attend. 

Our workshop series will be delivered online, and will include some of our most respected training workshops, including:

Engender Equality’s specialist training and consultancy service is run under a social enterprise model. In considering your training and/or professional development choices, please be aware all profits gained from providing this service will directly be applied to our organisation’s specialist family violence counselling and support of victim-survivors of family and sexual violence and our efforts to create the social change needed to end family violence in our communities.
