About
Coming Home is an invitation into a real meditation space:
quiet, grounded, imperfect and alive.
There’s a gentle hum of Tibetan Buddhist philosophy underneath the classes — compassion, impermanence, interconnectedness, mind training — but the focus is always on direct experience, on this moment, this breath, this life.
Once a month, Tamkey will lead a chanting and dedication evening, where we’ll gather the names of loved ones, community members, and anyone facing illness, grief or obstacles, and dedicate the benefit of our practice toward their wellbeing.
In many ways, it feels like we’ve been circling this offering for years.
But sometimes the very obstacles we’re trying to help others navigate are the same ones standing in our own way.
Now, more than ever, what remains feels very simple:
heart,
intention,
practice,
community,
and the wish to create spaces that help people suffer a little less.
