About

Climate Action Week Sydney has established six long-term aspirational goals to guide our vision for impact over the next five to ten years.

Each year, we also define six themes to curate the week's events, fostering meaningful and impactful outcomes.

  • Accelerate the transition to zero emissions and a nature-positive world through inclusive and collaborative action.
  • Mobilise the entire climate action ecosystem to foster ambitious, scalable and life-sustaining systems change.
  • Empower the next generation with a platform to amplify their voices and lead transformative impact.
  • Honour and collaborate with First Nations communities to elevate their leadership and invaluable knowledge in Earth Systems stewardship.
  • Amplify innovations and entrepreneurial leadership to accelerate and scale climate action solutions to actualise our zero emissions future.
  • Attract top domestic and global talent, investors, and organisations to drive positive, lasting impact in Australia and globally.

We have identified 5 pillars of climate action:

  1. Educate
  2. Inspire change
  3. Reduce emissions
  4. Remove emissions
  5. Adapt & build resilience
