Creating cool, green, connected neighbourhoods in Balga is a focus for the City. This will provide key benefits such as habitat for wildlife, a sense of belonging, and enhanced liveability at the local level. Balga is already home to a network of parks and bushland reserves, offering a unique opportunity to connect these spaces through urban greening projects. This will not only help native animals move more easily between fragmented habitats but also deliver the benefits of beautiful green spaces. Come to one of our events to join in or learn more!
