Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is soaring into the Nairn Theatre, it’s going to be magical, musical mayhem at full throttle.

Join the brilliant and eccentric inventor Caractacus Potts, his wonderful children, the delightful Truly Scrumptious, and the most amazing, one-of-a-kind car you’ll ever meet as they embark on a wildly fun adventure packed with thrills, spills, and pure joy!

This beloved musical is bursting with show-stopping songs like Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Truly Scrumptious and Hushabye Mountain, along with colourful costumes, fabulous choreography, and heaps of heart.

Performance Dates

This production features a double cast for lead roles, with performers alternating across different shows. Dance troupes and ensemble groups will remain the same for each performance, bringing wonderful energy and colour to the stage every time.

Pre-Show Food and Beverage

Guests are warmly encouraged to arrive early and enjoy the atmosphere before the show, with food trucks and treats available from 4.30pm before evening performances and from 12.30pm before the matinee.

Come along early for dinner, lunch or a sweet treat before taking your seats. And yes, Dippin’ Dots are back by popular demand!

Please note: food and drink cannot be taken into the theatre. Guests are welcome to enjoy food and drinks in the designated outdoor areas before the show and during intermission.

Show Times

Evening performances begin at 6.00pm and will finish by approximately 7.30pm, including a 20-minute intermission at around 6.40pm.

The matinee performance will begin at 2.00pm and finish by approximately 3.30pm, including a 20-minute intermission at around 2.40pm.
