About
The 29th Charles Dickens Festival is an annual celebration of the work and genius of Charles Dickens. And the holiday season is the most fitting time to bring his works to life as he is often called "the man who invented Christmas" with his many short stories and his crowning work, A CHRISTMAS CAROL which elevated the universal values of love, kindness and goodwill to all. Over this first weekend in December, the streets of Port Jefferson Village are transformed into a living depiction of Dickens' time and stories. You can enjoy various seasonal music, dance, magic and performances throughout the Village. The events are family friendly and almost all are free to the public. What better way to kick off the holiday season than to visit Port Jefferson and come away filled with the spirit of Christmas!
