Spearheaded by Melbourne-based lighting designer and theatre maker Bronwyn Pringle, a series of free Tech Workshops have been developed to up-skill Melbourne's entertainment technical crews. After extensive consultation with Melbourne’s live performance venues and practitioners, Bronwyn identified gaps in technical skills across the sector and has devised a series of free workshops tailored to technicians already working in the industry. Workshops will be led by industry specialists including Bronwyn Pringle, Jess Keepence, Meg Deyel, Michele Preshaw, Justin Gardam, Justin Green and Chris Wenn with additional trainers and panel members to be confirmed.

These sessions are designed for technicians already working in venues or on productions who specialise in other areas and want to know a bit more about working with Lighting, Sound, Projection, Mechanics, Stage Management and/or Production Management.
