About
We are excited to hold our annual Student Led Conferences (SLC) on Monday, 15 September.
During a Student Led Conference, the children will explain what they have learnt, what they have achieved and how they need to improve.
For Years 2, 3, 4 and 5, we will be offering families a choice:
Attend the event at school on Monday, 15 September, commencing at 3.20 pm in class. You can book a 20-minute appointment slot now.
OR:
Participate in the Student Led Conference - at home, at some point in Week 10 of Term 3 (15 - 19 September) at your family’s convenience, by accessing your child’s ePortfolio via a provided QR code through the Community Hub.
For Prep and Year 1, the event will be based at school only *
About our Student Led Conferences:
The objective of our SLCs is for the children to personally showcase key aspects of their learning across literacy, numeracy, and integrated studies with their family, as relevant to the Australian Curriculum.
The philosophy of our Student Led Conferences is to empower and equip children of all ages to become more independent and take greater ownership of their learning. In the past, we have seen these conferences create a special moment for families as children share their completed work and learning journey with pride and excitement.
Bookings close Saturday, 13 September at 7.00 pm
Please note - Student Led Conferences, whether at school or home, are optional for families.
